Take a Look! - Ep.1

At Studio Fibra, we are launching a new series dedicated to creative people and process, we called it "Take a Look".

In this feature, we will meet creative individuals who have chosen to tell us about their work, offering us a privileged look into their practices. Today, we introduce Elisa, a twenty-year-old with a deep passion for styling and photography. Over the past year, Elisa has brought her own personal project, Stylinminds, to life.

We believe her approach—which is both spontaneous and professional in managing her page—makes her an inspiring example. She demonstrates how a genuine passion, combined with clear vision, can give rise to interesting and valuable projects. We now leave you with Elisa’s story.

“Stylinminds was born from a desire to create something through my passions, my time, and my ideas. I don't want to define it yet, both because it is a newborn project and because I like the idea that it can take on different forms and meanings.

It all started with my friends coming to my house, trying on my clothes, and me finding pleasure in seeing them worn by other people, in putting pieces together according to my taste and preferences. Initially, it was simply a styling page, and styling will always remain an integral part of it, always with a particular focus on the details of the clothes, but it immediately also became a necessity to communicate something.

I want Stylinminds to be a creative and stimulating space that is not limited to styling, but that becomes a place of expression, capable of weaving together social and emotional themes or any other aspect that I perceive as meaningful and important to share with myself and with others. All of this is united with my search for beauty in what surrounds me: people, places, and clothes. If I had to give it a definition, I would compare it to a public diary that I take great care of.

Right from the start, the people around me supported me and helped me build this journey. Over time, it also became an antidote to the unease caused by the uncertainty of my choices and the feeling of not doing something truly for myself, but only for a social necessity. Subsequently, it also allowed me to give a deeper meaning to what I study, psychology, by allowing me to unite my passion for people with my passion for styling.

Creating something of my own has given me motivation and a sense of purpose: the perception of making choices for myself, dedicating time and care to my thoughts and my ideas. What I do is, after all, very simple: I get an idea, I invite someone to my house, I dress them, and we take photos in places that I find interesting, adding small details. Then I started combining writing, which, when placed next to the visual experience, gives an interpretation to what I have lived.

The practice varies and continues to vary, but there is always a lot of spontaneity: the chosen elements come to life on their own, in the form of an image. This experience has taught me a lot, and who knows how much more it will teach me. There is no defined purpose in what I am doing, but for now, putting people and the possibility of transforming through clothes, photography, and words together has enriched me and my life deeply.”
